As the Minister of Transport, Communication and Tourism of Suriname, I view many responsibilities and challenges that come
with my post very seriously. I hope to make a positive contribution through leadership by example.

I am also counting on the strong support of the tourism stake-holders as we journey together to further develop Suriname’s tourism potential. Apart from the exotic nature, cultural, architectural and historic attractions Suriname offers a great variety of cuisines as a result of the different cultures that live harmoniously in our country.

Suriname’s many landscapes and cultures offer you an array of attractions to suit your needs, be it business or leisure. I would like to invite you to come and visit our beautiful country Suriname.
